I Sniff Before I Sleep is inspired by a number of brief fragrance reviews I started writing and collecting over the course of about two years. I usually wear my fragrance of choice during the day, but I try a different one (either from a bottle or sample) almost every evening. I then share my mini-review with my closest friend.
The love for perfume is the center of this blog with a focus on niche, independent, and vintage perfumery. In these pages, I will explore fragrances I enjoy through personal stories and experiences and will occasionally connect the scent experience to literature, mythology, art, and the other senses. The idea is to connect all the things I love the most and convey how scent evokes thoughts, emotions, memories, colors, and textures.
